Dr. James Peyton Moore has been practicing General Dentistry in the Martinsville,Virginia community since 1989. He previously served in the United States Air Force Dental Corps from 1986 to 1989 with a rank of Captain. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Medical College of Virgina in 1986 after receiving his B.S. in Biology,Cum Laude,from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1986. He also received his A.S. in Science, Cum Laude, from Central Virginia Community College in Lynchburg, Virginia. Dr. Moore is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, volunteers at the Danville Community College Dental Hygiene Training Center in Danville, Virginia and is a participant in Donated Dental Services. Dr. Moore is also active in the community. He is past President and member of the Kiwanis Club of Martinsville. Dr. Moore is an active member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church where he teaches Sunday School and has served as elder. Dr. Moore and his wife Lucy reside in Martinsville with their three children- Audrey(age 19),James(age17)and Liza(age15).
